Basic physical, emotional and educational assessment of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization. Analgesia and moderate sedation needs are assessed prior, during and post procedure by the nurse. Assistance to physicians performing diagnostic and interventional procedures; pharmacologic and hemodynamic support of patients before, during and after all invasive procedures. Post-procedural assessment, stabilization and transfer to appropriate medical/surgical service.
