How you’ll make an impact in this role Oversee daily operations of the Level III Labor and Delivery department, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with clinical standards. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to maintain proficiency and meet departmental goals. Collaborate with department leadership to enhance processes, implement quality improvement initiatives, and address patient care needs effectively. SUMMARY: The Wound Nurse is responsible for providing primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervisor of the residents’ attending physician, the Director of Nursing, or the Medical Director of the facility, with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders.
