Ensures compliance with specialty practice standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards applicable to Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology services, including radiation safety, contrast safety, infection prevention, and procedural quality. Monitors specialty-specific clinical and operational performance indicators to identify opportunities for improving procedural quality, patient safety, access, throughput, and patient outcomes. Coordinates patient progression throughout the Interventional Radiology care continuum by facilitating efficient patient preparation, procedural readiness, recovery, discharge planning, and coordination with emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary. Minimum Education/Experience Required: Current licensure in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse required. Minimum of 1 year critical care/telemetry experience required. BLS and ACLS certification required. Must live within 45 minutes from hospital. Maintains compliance in RQI required. Special Knowledge, Skills, Training: Verbal, clerical, numerical, and manual dexterity, color vision and near visual acuity.
