Summary Job Summary We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse for our 4th Floor Moffitt McKinley ICU . This Surgical Intensive Care Unit provides a dynamic working environment that cares for critically ill medical/surgical patients requiring intubation, vasopressors, CRRT and various other modalities associated with critical care. Our nursing staff provides knowledgeable and skilled care within a unique interdisciplinary team. We offer CRRT classes and quarterly education workshops. Position Highlights The Registered Nurse delivers individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies. This is demonstrated in base-line and comparative documentation, entered in a timely manner, and with evidence of age-appropriate consideration when care is planned, delivered, and evaluated. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: 2 years of inpatient hospital experience ICU/ PACU experience as a registered nurse Caring for Post-Operative patients Responsibilities Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families. Job Description Job Summary Provides support for the completion of the Community Health Assessment (CHA) - formerly the UAS (Uniform Assessment System), initial assessments and reassessments based on New York state requirements, guidelines, and training provided by the company and/or outside resources. Job Duties • Completes approved New York State initial assessment tool and/or clinical reassessment used to define eligibility for community-based long-term care services for members. • Completes enrollment paperwork, progress notes and tasking tool in member homes to assist in determining eligibility for services; reviews all data collected for accuracy and completion prior to submission. • Charts all contacts and findings within appropriate tool and form per policy and procedure and within established deadlines. • Attends training and continuing education sessions focused on the proper completion of Comprehensive Health Assessment (CHA) documentation, enrollment paperwork, and tasking tool. • Focuses on continuous improvement and quality excellence in the completion of all materials associated with the initial enrollment/continued enrollment of members in the plan. • Supports initiatives of the quality assessment and performance improvement committee. • 25- 40% estimated local travel may be required (based upon state/contractual requirements).
