Job Description Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Patient Coordinator is a clinical expert registered nurse who applies clinical expertise in evidence-based practice. Applies concepts derived from management and communication theory, group dynamics and clinical judgment to implement the VAD program. Integrates care with multidisciplinary team (within the hospital, practice and in the community) to facilitate VAD patient care from pre implant thru discharge of care.
