How you make a difference As a Registered Nurse (RN), your primary responsibility is to provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting as required by policy and attend mandatory staff meetings and training. Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to support the Nurse Manager to ensure standards of professional practice are developed and maintained to achieve excellence and continuity in resident care. The Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for working in a collaborative manner with the Nurse Manager to direct and organize the nursing care for their assigned neighborhoods. The Assistant Nurse Manager will support the leadership, direction, and supervision of nursing staff, including RNs/LPNs, CNAs and Companions. This includes working in collaboration with the Nurse Manager and the neighborhood staff to balance schedules and maintain staffing levels that are consistent with resident needs, including needs as defined by their Plan of Care, activity and daily schedules, outside and in-house clinic visits, and school programs. The Assistant Nurse Manager will also review and/or modify staff assignments as necessary to ensure quality resident care. In addition, the Assistant Nurse Manager will participate in the hiring, interviewing and onboarding process, as well as periodic evaluation of staff that are assigned to their floor. Evaluations include annual performance reviews as well as interim coaching, counseling and progressive disciplines that may be required. The Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for working an on-site schedule of at least 4 days per week a that includes providing evening supervisory coverage and reporting off daily concerns and significant changes in resident condition to the night supervisors. The Assistant Nurse Manager will be included in a Nursing Leadership weekend rotation to ensure continuity of systems and protocols are maintained through the entire week. How you make a difference The RN Travel supports patient care delivery through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the supervision of Charge Nurses. This role involves administering medications, assisting in diagnostic tests, documenting care, and supporting surgical procedures as needed. The nurse ensures compliance with safety protocols, medication handling, and clinical documentation standards. They participate in care planning, emergency response, and interdisciplinary communication. The role requires 100% travel to various locations to fulfill staffing needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient care and treatment plans under supervision of Charge Nurse Administer medications, perform EKGs, and assist with procedures Maintain accurate documentation in SOAP format and review medical records Respond to emergencies and ensure safety and infection control protocols Travel full-time to different healthcare facilities as staffing needs require Additional Details Must have correctional experience Qualifications & Requirements EDUCATION Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing EXPERIENCE One (1) or more years clinic experience preferred Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) within the states of practice and the state in which you work, or a valid compact state nurse license Current CPR certification This position is available only to those who reside in the United States.
