Coordinates and delivers care to patients of all ages with a focus on gastroenterology. Assists personnel in the admission, perioperative care and discharge of patients, specializing in gastroenterology. The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating direct and indirect nursing care, and identifying outcomes for patients in the perioperative setting.
