Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Position Description Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians – Behavioral Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing outpatient Behavioral Health practice. This full-time position provides diagnostic evaluation and medication management follow up visits for patients with psychiatric illness. The aim is to provide time limited interventions to optimize the psychiatric medication plan, reduce symptoms with the goal of transition of care to return the patient to primary care for long term management of chronic conditions. This position would be at one of our two primary locations, LGHP BH practice 802 New Holland Avenue or Suburban Outpatient Pavilion on Harrisburg Pike, reporting to the managing physician Dr. Taylor. The PMHNP would participate in our structured APP onboarding and mentorship program, which provides two hours of weekly mentorship with a psychiatrist and an hour-long weekly APP clinical collaboration meeting with other APPs, both of which support professional practice and growth. This position may require some travel to satellite offices. Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm and this would be the expected schedule during onboarding and for the first 90-120 days. After 90-120 days, this role could be eligible for 4 10 hour days and could be eligible for one day work from home telehealth; this is not guaranteed and could be subject to change based on business needs and potential changes to telehealth reimbursement. Position Requirements Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required. Summary The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (GHN) at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) is developing a team of close-knit Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners at the Texas Medical Center campus to be part of a dynamic and collaborative multidisciplinary medical team who will care for hospitalized patients with a variety of gastrointestinal and liver disorders. This position offers a unique experience on our in-patient service lines for an individual who wishes to pursue a career in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition, build relationships with patients/families and be immersed in a highly educational environment with frequent opportunities to attend research lectures, pathology conference, and obtain CME through GI grand rounds and fellows workshops. The Division of GHN at TCH is currently ranked the #5 program in the country by US News and World Report and its faculty are internationally recognized clinical experts and researchers. As the largest children's hospital in the country, TCH is a major quaternary referral center for some of the rarest GI and liver disorders, allowing for unparalleled development of pediatric GI and hepatology expertise. Currently, three gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition in-patient service lines care for 20 - 35 patients per day with a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders including but not limited to: inflammatory bowel disease, short bowel syndrome/ intestinal failure, gastrointestinal motility disorders, liver diseases, liver transplantation, and pancreas and bile duct abnormalities. Management of nutritional support in the form of enteral tube feeding and parenteral nutrition is also provided. The service line also performs a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. The physician assistant/ instructor will work alongside faculty colleagues, pediatric gastroenterology and transplant hepatology fellows, pharmacists, dieticians, social workers and pediatric residents to care for this pediatric patient population in both the acute care and ICU settings. We seek individuals who are organized and detail-oriented and can work well with staff and faculty from different departments to coordinate outstanding patient care. Job Purpose Provides advanced patient care to patients in a clinical setting in an area of specialization under the direction of a physician. Job Duties Obtain detailed history and perform physical examinations. Perform, order, and interpret diagnostic procedures in accordance with relevant health concerns of the patient. Prescribes appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments. Maintain records and write orders and progress notes in patient charts as to status, treatments, and procedures. Monitors and ensures accuracy of recording on patient medical records. Provide follow-up health maintenance care to patients in accordance with protocols established with the supervising physician. Communicate with physicians, patients, and the family members of patients concerning patient care. Collaborates with providers, and practice staff in identifying appropriate patients for care management. Perform other job related duties as assigned. Wound/Ostomy Specialist RN

What We Offer The Wound/Ostomy Specialist RN provides expert wound, skin, and ostomy care through patient assessment, treatment planning, education, and clinical collaboration. This role partners with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, support evidence-based practice, and drive quality and efficiency across Wound & Ostomy Services. Key Responsibilities: Assess and manage complex wounds, including surgical wounds, pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, burns, and other skin conditions. Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans, including advanced therapies and dressing recommendations. Educate patients, caregivers, and clinical staff on wound prevention, treatment, and ongoing care. Provide preoperative and postoperative ostomy education and support. Troubleshoot ostomy-related concerns, including leakage, skin irritation, and stoma complications. Coordinate staff scheduling and patient assignments for Wound/Ostomy Services. Collaborate across departments and markets to ensure efficient management of wound and ostomy supplies. Support quality improvement initiatives, productivity goals, and clinical best practices. What We're Looking For Education : 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. BSN preferred / BS considered. 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Nursing, Experience : Two years in clinical nursing, preferred. Licensure/Certification: RN license in Appropriate State, required. Certification in wound, required. Certification in Ostonomy, required. Additional Skills (required): Completion of Wound/Ostomy Course provided by accredited program. This must be completed within 3 years of hire and certification should be achieved within 6 months to 1 year after program is complete.
