Under general supervision, the Med ical Assistant – NCT or Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) is responsible for providing patient care services, determining medical conditions, and preparing patients for examination and treatment under the direction of the Provider. The MA-NCT or Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist prepares for and performs standard x-ray examinations, while using proper technique and positioning per provider orders. The team member will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, updating medical records, utilizing x-ray equipment, and notifying the imaging supervisor of any equipment issues. Additional back-office duties as assigned.
