Patient care include hemodynamic monitoring, treatment of adult patients during the recovery phase from cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, STEMI, exacerbation and treatment of end stage heart failure and the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. This unit also serves as the stroke unit for the hospital as well. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Utilizes the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and specific competencies to assess the physical condition and nursing needs of patients, and develops a plan of care in a collaborative practice with the patient and interprofessional team. Plans for the care needs of the patient in collaboration with the interprofessional team to provide the highest quality of care and clinical outcomes. Demonstrates clinical expertise in the provision of care in the clinical specialty assigned, and performs all functions of the professional clinical nurse (RN), which are age appropriate, developmentally sensitive, and culturally specific. Hourly Pay Range: $33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
