Measures, records and documents vital signs. Where applicable, performs phlebotomy, injections and other specimen collection per established policies and procedures as directed by the provider. Prepares and administers medications as directed by a provider. Authorizes drug refills as directed. Educates patients by providing information and instructions as directed by the provider; answering questions. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Sterilizes medical instruments per established standards and procedures. Represents the office in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner. Participates in team activities and professional development activities. Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values. Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred. Must have an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the same state in which you are working.
