Qualifications Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State . Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of RN experience , with at least 1 year in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility . Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred. Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred). Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of NYS DOH and CMS nursing home regulations. Familiarity with MDS documentation, infection control, fall prevention, and pressure injury protocols. Skills: Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving ability. Excellent leadership, delegation, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to handle emergencies calmly and professionally. Proficiency in electronic health records (e.g., PointClickCare, SigmaCare). Work Conditions Work performed in a skilled nursing facility environment. Requires standing and walking for extended periods and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. May require evening, night, weekend, or holiday shifts.
