Overview Position Title: Medical Assistant II Location: 201 Pennsylvania Pkwy, Suite 310, Carmel, IN 46280 Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Position Overview: Under the supervision of the designated supervisor and assigned physician, the Medical Assistant II performs duties related to direct patient care, administrative tasks, and clinical support within the endocrinology specialty. Current certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following organizations: American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) American Medical Technologists (RMA) National Health Career Association (CCMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA) American Medical Certification Association (CMAC) AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other advanced life support certifications may be required per specialty. What you need to know about this position: A member of the Columbus Regional Health Physicians team, OB/GYN Associates of Columbus, is a fast-paced practice with 8 providers and averages 80 patients a day. OB/GYN Associates of Columbus treats women throughout all the stages of their life. The Medical Assistant will be located in the office lab. The role our Medical Assistants play may vary but include responsibility for routine back office functions, bringing patients back to exam room, taking and recording basic medical history, and assisting the physicians and/or nurse as needed. The hourly range for this position is between $17.61 and $26.41. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. This position will require you to work a shift of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
