Float Medical Assistant I - Burbank, CA

Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced and caring Medical Assistant (Float) with excellent clinical and customer service skills to work full-time at our Burbank Health Center --and will also travel to Antelope Valley, Van Nuys, and Canoga Park locations as needed. This is an intermediate level position responsible for all supporting functions in the delivery of reproductive health care service and performs all Medical Assistant front and back office functions. Our 18-bed ARU is designed for people who have experience the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness and like the LTACH, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Job Summary Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develops nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Job Summary The Charge Nurse manages a designated group of nursing employees on a nursing unit and assures smooth operations of the unit for a designated staff.
