JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary Provides support for care management/care coordination activities and collaborates with multidisciplinary team coordinating integrated delivery of member care across the continuum. Required Qualifications • At least 2 years experience in health care, preferably in care management, or experience in a medical and/or behavioral health setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. • Registered Nurse (RN). To rotate shift and accept call as assigned by Clinical Nursing Director. To assist in the teaching activities of the Operating Room. Required Qualifications* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan One (1) year of current (within the last year) Operating Room experience as a RN. Ability to work with a non-responsive patient population. Call commitment with 30 minute response time. Responsibilities* Provide direct patient care to multiple surgical population (ICU, general care and OP). Maintain patient's airway, VS/I&O. Monitor EKG, arterial line, PA catheter, etc. Pain management (PCA and Epidural). Participate as a member of the collaborative health team. Provide patient/family education. Prepare unit for Pre-op patients (IV set-up review charts for H&P, consent, etc.). Provide direct care for Pre-op patients. Required Qualifications* Current licensure to practice nursing in the state of Michigan. Two (2) years of Adult Surgical ICU RN experience within the last three (3) years. Knowledge of multiple surgical procedures. -OR- Two (2) years of Adult Emergency Department RN experience within the last three (3) years. -OR- Two (2) years of current Adult PACU RN experience (with a minimum of 20 hours per week) to include caring for patients at an ICU level of care, within the last three (3) years.
