Consistently follows all Infection Control policies and measures regarding hand washing standard precautions, linens, clean and orderly environment including all resident care areas. ** 8. Meets elimination needs of all residents per policies and documents toileting times and initials incontinence and continence. Follows routine bowel regimes, documents and reports to Nurse. ** 9. Follows Rehab Nursing measures. Some examples are encouraging independence and decision making, range of motion, ambulating, positioning and alignment, transfers and transport, moving resident up in bed, etc.) Pays special attention to good body mechanics and safe lifting techniques. Is responsible to look at the activity calendar at the beginning of each shift and assures that all residents are transferred to and from all activity programs in a consistent, timely manner. Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers, and transport to appointments. Reports any needs of resident, signs or symptoms of illness or distress, injuries or accidents including falls, skin tears, bruises, and red areas to Nurse on duty. ** 13. Measures, records and documents vital signs, height/weight, I&O's and any information that is pertinent to resident care plan, resident care profile and reports all out of limit findings to the Nurse on duty. Participates in resident care conferences as appropriate and the process of care planning in a positive and constructive manner. ** 15. Follows all pertinent personnel policies re: attendance, breaks, meals, staff meetings, mandated requirements per policy, float assignments, dress code etc. Work schedules may be subject to change based on the needs of the department to provide the highest quality care to our residents. Has a working knowledge of Corporate Compliance regulations and promptly reports any potential Corporate Compliance violations to the Corporate Compliance Officer.
