This position is within Wing 3 (Drug and Alcohol Unit/Detox and Dual diagnosis) with 28 beds. We offer medically monitored detoxification and treatment for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Our skilled staff help patients safely manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings while keeping them as comfortable as possible. Medication-assisted treatment, group therapy, and other services aid their recovery. Location: Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road Princeton NJ). SUMMARY OF JOB The Antenatal Registered Nurse must be able to perform all aspects of the nursing process under the Professional Nursing Law. He/she functions as a coordinator and provider of nursing care in the antenatal testing center to the obstetric woman and her fetus, who has a known or suspected at-risk pregnancy. In collaboration with the maternal-fetal medicine physician, the antenatal RN uses assessment, planning and intervention skills to evaluate the patient’s clinical condition, including the use of patient history, diagnostic test results and symptomology during antenatal testing. The antenatal RN serves as a liaison, educator and patient advocate, and functions within individual patient needs, physician orders, Holy Redeemer Health System policy and procedures, and the Pennsylvania Nurse Practice Act.
