The RN Nurse Manager will be responsible for the coordination of patient care and will serve as an important participant in policy and procedure implementations as they relate to medical services for nursing staff. This role will also serve as a member of the site management team. Other job duties include but at not limited to: Oversee day-to-day clinical activities, ensuring adequate clinical staffing and optimal patient flow. Schedule, supervise, and coordinate the clinic Medical Staff (Ultrasound technicians and clinical staff) so that all necessary nursing services are available at all times. Support, train, and supervise Medical staff. Participates in the hiring, evaluation, and disciplinary process of support staff. As needed, assist providers with complex procedures, emergencies or other clinical situations in which a nursing presence is indicated. Assist in the adoption and implementation of new technologies and activities that improve patient care and clinical efficiency. Support the clinical care team of providers, medical assistants, and others as needed. Oversee lab and processing of specimens, ordering blood work, CLIA, CLIS, OSHA and MLE. Reviewing daily lab slips and results and forward to appropriate provider, oversees surgical suite (minor surgeries), screens surgical candidates and make sure that is a smooth flow during procedures. Oversees Quad A compliance and reviews lab processes and compliance. Other duties as assigned. Experience and Education: A degree from an accredited nursing program. Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license. At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a high-volume outpatient OB/GYN practice. Previous experience managing others. Active CPR certification. Knowledge of CPT coding, Lab order sets, LabDAQ, LOINC, LIS, Quad A and eCW beneficial. As a Registered Nurse (RN), the expectations would be: Monitor and provide daily oversight of resident care in accordance with facility and state standards. Administers medication and/or treatment to residents Communicates resident pertinent data to the appropriate responsible party. Supervises and coordinates CNAs and LPNs in providing direct resident care in adherence to State and Federal guidelines. Receive telephone orders from physicians, transcribe orders and record in the electronic health record, and prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider. Educate residents and their loved ones to understand the condition, medications, and self-care skills. Promote continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Ensure nursing supply and equipment maintenance needs are met. Medical Assistant

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following: Locating patients, obtaining accurate vital signs by visual and auditory measures, triaging patients, assessing patients’ medical condition, and preparing patients for physicals and medical treatment by Physicians and Nurses; Understanding and using the electronic medical record system; Ordering lab, x-ray, and medical supplies as directed; Notifying the Nurse and/or Physician when the patient is ready for exam while communicating symptoms and relaying questions about lab or x-ray needs; Assisting Nurses and Physicians with various forms of patient treatment and care; Handling Physician and Nurse requests with respect and in a timely manner; Performing lab duties as assigned; Performing phlebotomy procedures; Sterilizing and setting up instruments; Receiving and storing supplies; restocking treatment rooms as needed; Reporting to the Charge Nurse before leaving at the end of the shift; Following ancillary guidelines as deemed necessary by the Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, DMS, and Physician; Adhering to established policies and procedures; Maintaining cleanliness of the treatment area and completing biological cleanup in accordance with OSHA guidelines and other maintenance assignments as directed; Washing, drying, folding, and restocking laundry; maintaining the cleanliness of the washing machine and dryer lint trap; Attending staff meetings as scheduled by the Nurse Supervisor or DMS; Operating, using, and maintaining medical and office equipment as trained; Completing assigned checklists and Policy Manager tasks within the assigned shift; Being available to assist as needed, as breaks and mealtimes may be interrupted at any time to provide necessary patient care or to maintain center operations; Fostering teamwork and ensuring a positive and professional atmosphere; Providing positive, warm, and friendly service in all interactions; Understanding and performing all duties as assigned. Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: Must be 18 years of age or older; Minimum typing experience; High school graduate or equivalent; Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred; Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system; Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time (possibly 4 to 7 hours at a time); Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; Ability to attend scheduled CPR classes and code drills; Ability to prioritize and multitask; Willingness to work at any center due to a staffing or center emergency or reduction of work.
