The RN House Supervisor provides the communication link between manager, staff, patients, physicians and others. This position serves as a resource to staff for patient bed assessment and in the planning of emergency nursing interventions. The position facilitates problem resolution and collaborates with administration, and physicians in assessing quality of care provided, identifying staff strengths and weaknesses and in evaluation of staff performance. Operational issues are identified by this position and the position works to take action and correct problems. Interface with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning is also required. This is a Safety Sensitive position.
