Total cash compensation includes earnings from per visit point pay and hourly pay and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. This role receives two types of compensation depending on the work being performed. When conducting visits, you will be paid per visit point rate compensation. Your per visit pay will be calculated by multiplying your per visit point rate by the productivity points you accrue for various types of visits. Each type of visit is assigned a certain number of productivity points that is inclusive of "direct" and "indirect" patient care activities. Visits are assigned based on patient and business needs. The number of visits performed each week will vary based on individual productivity targets and the productivity points assigned to the visits performed. Department Overview Our cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) is a 25-bed pediatric critical care unit for patients with complex conditions and their families. In this unit, we care for patients along their continuum of acute recovery to provide for their changing physical and emotional needs as we prepare them to return home. You will play an essential role in the person-centered treatment of adults with severe mental illness. The facility is over 17,000 square feet with a separate full-size gymnasium. Night shift differential is $4.00 for all shifts worked and both shifts receive a weekend differential of $1.50/hour. Time and a half pay is included in hours worked over 80 hours in two weeks as well! Incumbents in this position will utilize clinical assessment and judgment, demonstrating independent and autonomous decision making within the scope of RN practice. Able to plan, implement and evaluate all aspects of nursing care and coordinate care with internal and external partners. Responsible for the administration of prescribed treatments and medications. Partners with RN III to provide on-duty supervision for professional and paraprofessional nursing staff. May assist Nurse Educator & RN III in facilitating ongoing competencies/trainings with nursing staff.
