Radiology Nursing is a dynamic unit that supports patients undergoing radiological procedures. While the unit does not have a specific number of beds, it plays a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety during various imaging studies. The patient population and diagnoses in this unit vary, reflecting the diverse nature of radiology services. Shift requirements: Part Time/Special Weekend Option ( Sat/Sun 7a-730p) This is a temporary position for 16 weeks. The dates would be 10-3-26 to 2-7-27. This position will be supporting outpatient CT and MRI. Mostly consists of screening patients for the scans, starting IV's, accessing ports, monitoring/responding to contrast reactions. Position Summary To fulfill the needs of patients in a variety of age groups, their family members, and the community by performing varied patient care tasks and functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Education Bachelor`s degree in Nursing required. Current/valid State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from the New Jersey Board of Nursing).
