American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position at a large Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring interventional scrub experience and a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience. Job details: - Work setting is a large, short-term acute care academic teaching hospital with Level I Trauma designation and 1,266 staffed beds - Position is in the Cath Lab unit, functioning as an RN Circulator in a high-volume, high-acuity diagnostic and interventional PCI environment - Patient population includes diagnoses such as AMI, chest pain, heart failure, NSTEMI, aortic stenosis, V-Tach, endocarditis, A-fib, peripheral vascular disease, and sick sinus syndrome - Patient ratio is 1:1 - Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts on a rotating basis: 0700–1730 (standard), 0700–1730 (late), and 1000–2030 (close, as needed) - Every other weekend is required - Rotating on-call is required, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to change based on unit needs - Floating within the service line is required to meet facility needs - Block scheduling is not available - Charting is done in Epic; Epic experience is required - Specialized equipment includes Impella and IABP - Navy scrubs are required Requirements: - Active MO RN license or Compact RN license; must be valid and in hand at time of consideration (pending IL license may be acceptable — note at time of consideration) - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required - Interventional scrub experience required - Experience in a high-volume, high-acuity Cath Lab environment required - Level I Trauma facility experience required - Epic EMR experience required - Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted Additional information: - The RN Circulator will provide conscious sedation under attending physician direction, hand off sterile supplies, assess vitals, and document in Epic - Cross-training to run hemodynamics in the monitor tech role is likely - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation - Travelers may remain at this health system for up to 18 months before a mandatory 3-month break is required - Former permanent employees of the health system must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler - Orientation completion modules are required prior to or at start - Parking passes are available at a monthly cost through the facility's Public Safety department; travelers are responsible for parking costs

JOB DESCRIPTION Opportunity for a Texas licensed RN to join Molina to work with our IDD members in the Houston service delivery area. Our Care Managers conduct face-to-face meetings with the members in their homes, completing assessments needed to determine the types of services we need to provide. Preference will be given to those candidates with previous experience working with the IDD population within a Managed Care Organization (MCO). Mileage is reimbursed as part of our benefits package. Job Summary Provides support for care management/care coordination long-term services and supports (LTSS)-specific activities. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team coordinating integrated delivery of member care across the continuum for members with high-need potential. Strives to ensure member progress toward desired outcomes and contributes to overarching strategy to provide quality and cost-effective member care. Essential Job Duties • Completes comprehensive member assessments within regulated timelines, including in-person home visits as required. • Facilitates comprehensive waiver enrollment and disenrollment processes. • Develops and implements care plans, including a waiver service plan in collaboration with members, caregivers, physicians and/or other appropriate health care professionals and member support network to address the member needs and goals. • Performs ongoing monitoring of care plan to evaluate effectiveness, document interventions and goal achievement, and suggest changes accordingly. • Promotes integration of services for members including behavioral health care and long-term services and supports (LTSS) and home and community resources to enhance continuity of care. • Assesses for medical necessity and authorizes all appropriate waiver services. • Evaluates covered benefits and advises appropriately regarding funding sources. • Facilitates interdisciplinary care team (ICT) meetings for approval or denial of services and informal ICT collaboration. • Uses motivational interviewing and Molina clinical guideposts to educate, support and motivate change during member contacts. • Assesses for barriers to care and provides care coordination and assistance to members to address psycho/social, financial, and medical obstacles concerns. • Identifies critical incidents and develops prevention plans to assure member health and welfare. • May provide consultation, resources and recommendations to peers as needed. • Care manager RNs may be assigned complex member cases and medication regimens. • Care manager RNs may conduct medication reconciliation as needed. • 25-40% estimated local travel may be required (based upon state/contractual requirements). Required Qualifications • At least 2 years of experience in health care, including at least 1 year experience in care management, managed care, and/or experience in a medical or behavioral health setting, and at least 1 year of experience working with persons with disabilities, chronic conditions, substance abuse disorders, and long-term services and supports (LTSS), or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. • Registered Nurse (RN). License must be active and unrestricted in state of practice. • In some states, a bachelor's degree in a health care related field may be required (dependent upon state/contractual requirements). • Valid and unrestricted driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate auto insurance for job related travel requirements, unless otherwise required by law. • Ability to operate proactively and demonstrate detail-oriented work. • Demonstrated knowledge of community resources. • Ability to work within a variety of settings and adjust style as needed - working with diverse populations and various personalities and personal situations. • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-motivation. • Responsiveness in all forms of communication, and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships. • Time-management and prioritization skills, and ability to focus on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to change. • Problem-solving skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Microsoft Office suite/applicable software program(s) proficiency. • In some states, must have at least one year of experience working directly with individuals with substance use disorders.
