Summary Under the direction of, and in collaboration with unit management, performs responsibilities exercising initiative, judgment and independent decision-making within the scope of the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policy and other governing organizations. Attends annual skills fair. * Uses personal protective equipment that is appropriate for the given task. * Reports accidents or incidents and safety hazards promptly. * Cleans equipment, spills, etc. as necessary. * Identifies needs, instructs others, and actively supports the role of patient advocate/liaison by communication and documentation of patient information to the proper resources/agencies. * Proper computerized documentation will be maintained at all times.
