Position Overview: This role is based at a healthcare facility in the Bronx, supporting admissions, care planning, and overall nursing department operations while ensuring high-quality resident care. Admissions experience is a must! Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct admission assessments for new residents and hospital returns; initiate care plans. Review PRI documentation and coordinate all aspects of the admission process with the interdisciplinary team. Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of resident information in accordance with HIPAA and corporate policies. Maintain nursing supply inventory and related operational needs. Supervise or direct resident care as assigned. Requirements/Qualifications: Active, unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license. Long-term care (LTC) experience required; admissions experience needed. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to make sound, independent decisions. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities. Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
