Performs office or hospital procedures in accordance with specialty practice, competency and granted privileges (where applicable). Participates in education and/or onboarding of new team members, students, and other health care professionals. Overview The Nurse Midwife (CNM) will work under the general supervision of their Medical Director, all physician partners, and their APP Manager, in WakeMed Physician Practices to deliver competent midwifery care to patients at WakeMed. This position can consist of both inpatient and outpatient care depending on the needs of the service and is outlined in the clinical job expectations.
