Description Under the general direction of the Practice Manager, Clinical Director and Lead MD, functions as a clinic level supervisor, performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties related to clinical management of practice and patient care. Provides safe, efficient, quality direct patient nursing care in accordance with the provisions of the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians. In addition, performs administrative duties including quality monitoring, clinical supply management, supporting established clinic workflows and staff education. Under the direct supervision of the designated clinical staff member, the incumbent will provide direct patient care for a diverse patient population, while maintaining high standards of care, and recognizing normal and abnormal signs and symptoms of life threatening emergencies. Job Description Department Description The Vascular Access Specialty Team is comprised of registered nurses that provide service to adult inpatients at the Parnassus, Mount Zion, Stanyan and Hyde campuses.
