POSITION OVERVIEW The MDS Coordinator (RN) is responsible for overseeing the resident assessment and care planning process and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations related to resident assessments, quality of care and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement. Ensure that MDS notes are informative and descriptive of the services provided and of the residents’ response to the service. Assist with completing the care plan portion of the resident’s discharge plan. Evaluate and implement recommendations from established committees as they pertain to the assessment and/or care plan functions of the health campus.
