This is a full-time 9:00 am - 9:00 pm shift opportunity. The ideal candidate will be available to work 9a-9P; 36 hours per week, 2 weekends per month and rotating holidays . As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for treating patients with any medical problems that cannot wait to be seen by their regular doctor, as well as severe and life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Registered Nurses are responsible for establishing a therapeutic relationship and an individualized plan of care with the patient for a defined period of time (length of stay on that unit) and for communicating that plan of care to his/her collaborative partners. Registered Nurses are accountable for planning, delivering, coordinating, evaluating, and modifying the patient’s care for that defined period of time and for effectively transitioning that plan of care with attention to continuity across shift and settings of care. Emergency nurses provide a multitude of care; ranging from foley insertions, assistance with chest tube and central line insertions, cardiac arrests, blood transfusions, medication administration, splinting of orthopedic problems, laceration repair, prep for the operating room, STEMI (MI) care, therapeutic hypothermia, and intravenous insertion; to name a few. Key Responsibilities Wound Care: Provide expert care for all open wounds, including cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring healing progress. Documentation & Compliance: Accurately complete admissions paperwork and maintain thorough, timely documentation. Resident & Family Education: Support and guide residents and their families with wound care knowledge and best practices. Medication & Treatments: Administer wound-related treatments and medications while following infection-control protocols. Regulatory Compliance: Uphold HIPAA and facility care standards at all times. Job Opportunity: RN Weekend Supervisor Facility: Alliance Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Position: RN Weekend Supervisor Schedule: Part-Time | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | Every Other Weekend Salary: $50 per hour Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse looking for an opportunity to lead and make a difference? Responsibilities & Duties: Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in overseeing the Nursing Department to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines. Ensure that all nursing staff adhere to their job descriptions and perform their duties to the highest standard. Participate in facility surveys and audits as requested. Conduct daily rounds to ensure nursing personnel meet accepted standards of care and professionalism. Qualifications & Requirements: Valid RN License in the State of New Jersey. Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in Long Term Care; managerial experience preferred. Proven leadership and management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
