Cleveland Clinic’s G90 Urology/Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit is dedicated to the care of post-operative urology and overflow surgical patients and focuses on pain control, return of bowel and bladder function, DVT prevention and ambulation. Patients in this unit range in age from young adult to geriatric , however, the most common patient population is approximately 65 years old. Some of the primary procedures performed on this unit include partial nephrectomy, radical nephrectomy, radical prostatectomy, urolithiasis, and cystectomy with continent/incontinent urinary diversion. A caregiver in this position works nights| 7:00pm—7:30am.
