Job Summary The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is a dynamic role that ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in a unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with interdisciplinary team members and under the direction of the Senior Nurse Manager and the department’s Medical Director (physician), the CNC directs, monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values. Collaborates with unit leadership to achieve unit and organization quality improvement and outcome-based initiatives. Attends meetings and conferences to exchange information on trends and best practices in the area of specialization or unit. Perform other duties as required.
