Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Staff Nurse Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Patient Care Manager Job Summary: As a Staff Nurse, you will provide compassionate nursing care to terminally ill hospice patients and support their families through end-of-life care and bereavement. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure continuity and quality of care in patients’ homes and hospice offices. Key Responsibilities: Assess and reassess nursing needs of hospice patients regularly. Provide hospice nursing services, treatments, and preventive procedures. Initiate nursing procedures relevant to patient care and safety. Observe and report changes in patients’ physical or emotional conditions to physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Educate, supervise, and counsel patients and their families regarding care. Supervise and train nursing service personnel including hospice aides.
