How you make a difference The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides a full range of psychiatric services to incarcerated patients in accordance with state licensure, collaborative practice requirements, and established policies and procedures. This role delivers direct psychiatric care, clinical consultation, and follow-up services to support patient treatment and continuity of care. The position works closely with mental health, medical, and administrative teams to ensure consistent and compliant psychiatric services. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner also seeks clinical consultation and supervision as required by collaborative practice protocols. Key Responsibilities Provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment, follow-up care, and medication management within professional and regulatory standards. Monitor effectiveness and side effects of psychotropic medications and provide ongoing patient education and informed consent. Collaborate with mental health, medical, and administrative teams to ensure coordinated and consistent psychiatric services. Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation and participate in required meetings, consultations, and on-call coverage. Support crisis intervention, referrals, transfers, and emergency or involuntary treatment processes as allowed by scope of practice and guidelines. Qualifications & Requirements Education Master in Science of Nursing or Post-Master’s Certificate from an accredited nurse practitioner program with a specialty in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan. Experience Minimum one (1) year of experience as a PMHNP required. Corrections experience in a PMHNP role preferred. Licenses/Certifications Unrestricted current license to practice as a PMHNP in the state of practice. Current board certification as a PMHNP. Current DEA Registration. Current BLS certification. Nurse Practitioner - Neonatal

Overview Legacy Health offers an exciting growth opportunity to join a well-established team of collaborative and energetic Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs). This role provides the opportunity to practice across both Level III and Level IV NICU settings within the Legacy system. NNPs are integral to delivery attendance and the medical management of high-risk neonates and infants, including daily rounding on NNP service patients. In addition to clinical care, the role includes telemedicine resuscitation coverage for Legacy Level I nursery sites and opportunities to contribute to non-clinical initiatives that support the highest standards of care for NICU patients and their families. Resuscitation: The NNP’s attend deliveries in person at each of the medical centers and via a telehealth support platform at the other level I nursery sites to provide a consistent high level of care for newborns throughout the Legacy system. Discharge Planning: The entire NICU team works to provide an integrated family care experience to enable families to care for their high-risk infants within the NICU setting and beyond. How you make a difference The Nurse Practitioner (NP) under the supervision of the Site Medical Director and other site Physicians, offers a comprehensive range of medical services to incarcerated patients in accordance with established policy and state guidelines. They ensure necessary documentation of services is provided to the Site Medical Director or designee to monitor the provision of clinical services. Additionally, they communicate scheduling changes to the Medical Director and H.S.A. and make arrangements for coverage of medical services if unavailable for an extended period of time. Key Responsibilities Provides medical care to inmates, including conducting exams, chronic care clinics, and infirmary rounds. Maintains accurate and legible progress note documentation in SOAP format and adheres to formulary guidelines. Responds to emergencies and makes logical decisions regarding non-formulary drugs or off-site referrals. Supports existing policies and procedures for admission, transfer, and specialty consultant referrals. Maintains confidentiality and provides input into facility committees as requested. Qualifications & Requirements Education A graduate of an accredited school of nursing An advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Experience Prior medical/surgical and/or emergency/trauma experience and corrections experience is preferred. Must have the patience and tact to deal with the inmate patient population and ability to work effectively in the corrections environment. Scheduling flexibility is also required to be able to rotate hours and shifts, if needed, and to be called during emergency situations to provide coverage. Licenses/Certifications Must have and maintain current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner within the state of employment. Must have and maintain current CPR certification.
