DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Samaritan Wound Care treats acute or chronic wounds caused by diabetes, surgery, injury, poor blood flow and/or other problems. The scope of practice is physician driven and centered around wound, ostomy and continence care while maintaining additional adjunctive therapies such as vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Current unencumbered Oregon RN licensure required. Healthcare Provider Level BLS required. BSN preferred. Related certification in Wound Care preferred.
