Nurses who are staffed on Kelemen 9 are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, which will allow competent and safe care for our complex patient populations. Aurora St. Luke's Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic is Aurora's outpatient hub for malignant hematology and bone marrow transplant/cellular therapy in Wisconsin. This clinic is a high-volume oncology clinic with a focus on blood cancer and bone marrow transplant/cellular therapy. The team RN supports patients during their clinic visit and coordinates care via the Epic in basket. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Minimum of 1 year of clinical RN experience is preferred. What You’ll Do: Schedule : Clinic hours are 8a-5p, Monday-Friday. No weekend or holiday requirement. Schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, subject to change with clinic needs (approximately 36 hours weekly). Additional Information About the Role 5900 is a unique 30 bed unit that provides care to female patients hospitalized for female related issues, with the primary focus on GYN Oncology. This includes chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, symptom management, pain management, palliative care, and hospice care. The care is moderate to high acuity and includes high complexity interventions. Care is coordinated by a multidisciplinary team including oncology trained nurses, advanced practice nurses, case managers, social workers, spiritual care, pharmacy, psycho-social support and our physician team.
