Staff Supervision and Management: Supervises RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; delegates tasks, evaluates performance, corrects unprofessional behavior, ensures safe staffing, and provides guidance during emergencies or when on call. Documentation and Communication: Maintains accurate resident records, charts, and reports; communicates resident care needs, physician orders, and dietary recommendations effectively to staff and interdisciplinary team. Medication and Pharmaceutical Compliance: Administers and monitors medications according to policy, maintains proper documentation, follows controlled substance procedures, and ensures adherence to safety and error-free standards. Facility Compliance and Professional Development: Promotes positive workplace culture, participates in QA programs, continuing education, and audits; maintains current licensure and knowledge of health regulations, infection control, and safety procedures. Qualifications Must have current registration, as a Registered Nurse, in the State of Minnesota. Must have successfully completed or seek certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and emergency care for the health care provider.
