Summary Under the direction of, and in collaboration with unit management, performs responsibilities exercising initiative, judgment, and independent decision-making within the scope of the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policy and other governing organizations. Initiates and maintains patient care plan to reflect current patient needs utilizing computerized documentation. Customer Service: Respects the privacy and dignity of every customer, internal or external. Is courteous and friendly, uses a quiet, respectful tone of voice when speaking with customers. Follows hospital policies regarding confidential or sensitive information; is Sensitive to cultural differences. Initiative: Completes duties assigned without hesitation and in a timely manner; accepts direction well, is highly productive; works independently as position requires; accepts constructive criticism; demonstrates good time management skills; demonstrates a willingness to train new staff.
