SHIFT The person in this role will work three 12-hour shifts from 7:00a - 7:00p for a total of 36 hours per week to include some weekends. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Fast-Paced, Specialized Post-Surgical Care on a BRAND NEW unit! This dynamic 17-bed unit with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6 that cares for adult patients ages 18 to 100 who are admitted for planned, elective surgical procedures across multiple specialties—including general surgery, orthopedics, hernias, foregut, and bariatric surgery. Our patients are unique because they typically arrive with a clear surgical plan and a recovery pathway focused on rapid mobilization, pain management, and discharge readiness. Length of stay is generally 24 hours to 2–3 days , which creates a predictable, structured workflow for nurses and providers. Please note this is an *Inpatient* unit and not a surgery center opportunity. Why 10S?
