A Brief Overview The Stroke Program Coordinator provides professional, clinical nursing, and technical knowledge, skills, and expertise for the development and continuous improvement of comprehensive stroke patient care. Problem/Diagnosis: Coordinates with the healthcare staff to identify and diagnose patient care problems, implement approaches to these problems, and evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions. Coordinates the development and implementation of an educational program designed to convey specialized knowledge and skills to the healthcare staff, patients, families, and the community. Coordinates Stroke Center Program goals using a multidisciplinary approach. Actively identifies, plans, and participates in research related to stroke patients.
