Resource Nurse Practitioner

Job Description This Nurse Practitioner (NP) position is assigned to the Cancer Services Medical Oncology clinics. In collaboration with the supervising physician and the administrative supervisor, the NP cares for patients receiving treatment for cancer. The NP provides clinical guidance for patients receiving systemic therapy for cancer including management of treatment toxicities, management of oncologic emergencies, symptom management, care coordination, assistance with triage, and other duties as assigned. The NCI-Designation recognizes the scientific leadership, resources, and the depth and breadth of the research in basic, clinical and population science. The clinical services encompass adult and pediatric tumors across three campuses as well as regional satellite locations. Advanced Practice Provider Manager

Job Description The summary purpose of the APP Manager is to provide leadership for the health system and advanced health providers in the development and implementation of ongoing quality improvement through an array of regulatory compliance, policies and programs, funding/funds flow/productivity, training and technical assistance, data and information sharing, and partnerships and collaborations. The APP manager will also provide direct management to the APP within the general surgery department and collaborate with the faculty physicians. Job Description The General Surgery Nurse Practitioner complements and assists the work of the attending faculty, surgical fellow, and surgical residents to provide integrative inpatient and outpatient care for the surgery services, which include acute care, gastrointestinal, bariatric, colorectal, hepatopancreatobiliary, surgical oncology, breast, plastic, and endocrine surgery. Under general supervision, provides program planning development, review and evaluation of clinical and administrative activities; uses critical thinking and independent judgement to direct, coordinate and oversee the nursing and other health care services of a program to clients across the age spectrum and / or targeted populations; supervises an assigned multidisciplinary team including professional, para-professional support staff, nursing students and interns; assigns direct report employees to work with clients according to client needs and the skills and strengths of individual team members. Shifts Available: Full-Time 1.0| PM | Shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM | Days: Sunday - Thursday Expected starting wage range is $56.00 - $69.19. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. What You Bring to the Table (Must Have) Two (2) years of psychiatric direct care nursing experience and at least two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role. Completion of Telecare assigned Supervisory training within 12 months in lieu of supervisory experience. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of California Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment. Must be at least 18 years of age All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
