Nurse Practitioners work within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and follow hospital policies and procedures. The nurse practitioner also complies with hospital and nursing standards in the performance of job duties and responsibilities. The nurse practitioner will support the goals and objectives of the department and of the hospital. Minimum Qualifications: Successfully completed Board Certified Nursing Program. JOB SUMMARY: The Nurse Practitioner, Critical Care delivers primary care to acute, critical, complex and chronically ill patient population collaboratively with the Division of Cardiology and Cardiac Intensivist teams.
