Position Summary The GYN ONC Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works under the clinical supervision of the GYN Oncologists . The role builds upon general advanced provider training and skill sets by requiring specialty focus in women’s services, chemotherapy management, and pre-and post-surgical follow-up. The APP maintains a case load of patients and bills appropriately for services rendered. Overview For Inpatient assignment, assists the attending physician in the care and management of patients on Inpatient units within the hospital. Delivers direct patient care consistent with the advanced practice registered nurse’s education, experience and certification, in collaboration with a physician, which includes diagnosis, management and/or referral of health care issues. Description The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) and oversee patients in the HIV Program in Des Moines, IA ! As part of Primary Health Care, Inc's program The Project, this role will work with a variety of patients who are at risk or living with HIV alongside Case Managers in an integrated care setting. Position Highlights Work/Life Balance: flexible schedule within clinic hours of 8:00a-5:00p with no call & no weekends Full-Time Role: 40 hours/week seeing on average 20 patients per day Financial Support: Eligible for student loan repayment through state & federal programs Competitive Salary: $92,400-$138,600 depending upon experience EHR: Ochin Epic Benefits Licensing and Professional Subscriptions: Reimbursement provided.
