A Registered Nurse II at DBHDS is responsible for providing advanced nursing care for patients with psychiatric disorders in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as nursing standards and regulations. Description The Surgical Observation unit, in the new state-of-the-art North Carolina Surgical hospital, is a 15-bed unit , which provides care to a varied adult surgical population to include patients on observation status, extended recovery from PACU, and at times, those awaiting an inpatient bed assignment.
