Maintains up to date knowledge of policies and procedures of Hospital as well as Standards of Practice for specialty area. Assures fiscal compliance related to patient billing and coding. Correctly bill patients for services and accurately document to support charges. Competes mandatory educational requirements in a timely manner. Assists Professional Development Coordinator/Educators in planning and presenting unit-based in-services. Responds to patient requests and proactively addresses patient needs using a multi and interdisciplinary approach.
