Collaborative Practice Nurse RN Sr

Overview Under minimal supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Review and report health status assessments, physical exams, lab data, radiographic data, and psychosocial assessments to the provider. Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional materials. Provide psychosocial support to patients and families. Maintain patient confidentiality. Prepare and administer therapies under physician direction and supervision. Administer medications/blood products using correct medication/product, dosage, route, time, and technique. Perform Quality Assessment and Improvement (QAI) Program audits as directed to ensure the provision of quality patient care and compliance with all Joint Commission requirements. Participate in QAI meetings as requested by the Program Manager to assure proper reporting of QAI activities Assess daily patient care needs and communicate concerns to attending physician. Implement changes in patient care/treatment as directed and in collaboration with prescribing physicians.
