Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame. The IR Registered Nurse assists the Radiologist with procedures performed in the IR Department. The patient population contains adults, geriatric and pediatric patients. Ionizing Radiation is utilized to perform these studies as well as other imaging modalities.
