Overview JOB SPECIFICS Providing high-quality patient care and a truly personalized, patient-centric experience aligned with each patient’s preferences, goals, and needs. Primarily outpatient and inpatient neuroscience care, including comprehensive neurological assessments, histories and physicals, new consults, follow-up visits, admissions, daily rounding, and care coordination. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of neurological conditions, including headache disorders, movement disorders, dementia and cognitive disorders, stroke, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, neuropathy, and other neurological diseases. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and multidisciplinary care teams. Coordinate care across the continuum, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, medication management, procedural preparation, rehabilitation referrals, and transition planning. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies, neuroimaging, and other neurological testing; prescribe medications and document all care provided. Provide patient and family education to enhance understanding of diagnoses, treatment options, disease management strategies, recovery expectations, and preventive care. Perform procedures and interventions within scope of practice and assist with neurological and neurosurgical patient management as appropriate. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional development within the neurosciences program. 8-hour shifts, 1st shift days, 40 hours per week.
