About Us: The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Valley Children’s Hospital is Central California’s only Regional Level IV NICU - the highest level of medical care available for premature and critically ill newborns. Overview Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Unit. This is a full-time, 12-hour day shift position reporting to the Director of Med/Surg. Responsibilities The Med/Surg RN provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to the hospitalized patient.
