Responsibilities Admit Discharge Transport (ADT) Registered Nurse Full-time position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. The Admit Discharge Nurse is a registered nurse who functions in a supportive role for the nursing and the hospital to assure compliance with regulatory standards for staffing and patient monitoring, and to facilitate patient movement throughout the organization for focused on timely admissions, transfers, and discharges. This role plays a crucial role in patient throughput thus reducing holds in the ED and creating additional inpatient capacity by assuring timely discharge of patients. Responsible for initiating admission assessments, transporting patients from department to department, participating in patient monitoring for tests and procedures, provides discharge teaching and assures prompt discharges of patients once discharge order received. This role requires strong communication skills, clinical expertise, data analytics, and empathic responses to monitor and support patients during transport, during procedures, and prior to discharge from the facility.
