Staff Nurse PICU Full-time, 36 Hours/week (3 12's) Days, 7AM - 7:30PM Summary: The Staff Nurse provides nursing care requiring specialized knowledge judgment and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences. This unit consists of patient populations from many specialized surgical teams. Our patient population is admitted from the ER, SICU and PACU. Nursing care for the Trauma patient is concentrated around recovering from traumatic injury with focus on mobility, patient education, monitoring intake and outputs and pain management. WHAT YOU WILL DO Responsible for implementing overall quality assurance activities, assessing, planning and administering health care which is individualized to the client, and consistent with the policies and protocols of Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio. Responsible for assessment plan, examination and treatment for all services provided at the center, for which the clinician is trained and privileged.
