May assume charge responsibilities based on operational needs. Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience with critical care, ED, or cardiovascular background. Must be able to read EKG tele strip’s as baseline. IV skills and ACLS preferred. On-Call: Not Required. This is a bargaining union position.

Inpatient RN Operating Room

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 9:00am-7:30pm Monday-Friday. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. You may be eligible for a sign on bonus up to $15,000. Required Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required Work Experience 911 Call Center Triage Only - 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting. Required 911 Call Center Triage Only - Community nursing experience. Preferred Licenses & Certifications Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred 9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire.
